At first glance, the home's exterior finish appears to be a work of art created with cement or concrete. Elaborate details are molded into the surface and around windows and doors with a custom finish applied to resemble all sorts of textures. These works of art are the result of advanced insulation manufacturing processes and polymer chemistry research coupled with a spark of creativity and craftsmanship. The completed installation is known as Synthetic Stucco or EIFS. EIFS is an acronym for Exterior Insulation and Finish System.
